Statistics
If you enjoy the logic of mathematics, you can study Statistics to learn how to use numerical data—in any area where you can find patterns. Just for example, statistics help marketing campaigns pinpoint when and how often to target specific consumers. Statistics are used in climate change science, insurance and actuarial professions, law enforcement, public health, sports, business, and a whole host of government sectors. You can pair a degree in Statistics with almost any other interest and improve your hiring potential—and, ultimately, your earning potential. More good news—according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job opportunities for statistics professionals are on the rise.
