Criminology and Criminal Justice

Christopher Mullins joined the faculty of SIUC in Fall 2008.

His research focuses on the structural and cultural aspects of violence, including street violence, terrorism, atrocity violence, and the laws which attempt to control such behavior. He has published four books,one co-edited volume, and over 70 peer reviewed articles and book chapters in a wide variety of outlets. He is co-editor of Emerald Press’ Advances in Historical Criminology series. He is an affiliate faculty in Sociology and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
