Zachary A. Meyer, J.D. grew up in Du Quoin, IL. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies with cum laude honors with a concentration in Pre-Law from SIU Carbondale. Professor Meyer attended SIU School of Law and served as the President of the Law and Medicine Society as well as the Vice President of Parents Attending Law School. Professor Meyer researched and wrote his thesis paper on Illinois Immunity laws, and Childhood Cancer Funding. He has been named by Super Lawyers as a 2024 Rising Star, and top 40 under 40 Illinois Civil Plaintiff attorney by the National Trial Lawyers.

Professor Meyer is licensed to practice law in Illinois and the Southern District of Illinois Federal Court. He focuses his practice on personal injury, workers compensation, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and product liability.
