Paralegal Studies

Daniel A. Silver teaches a wide variety of courses in the Paralegal Studies program. Mr. Silver has been practicing law, primarily in the area of bankruptcy and creditors' rights, since 1993. He has been teaching in the Paralegal Studies program at SIU Carbondale since 2002.

Daniel A. Silver joined the SIU Carbondale faculty in the Spring of 2002 after being employed as an attorney since 1993. Prior to taking the bar, Dr. Silver was a court reporter, an executive legal secretary, and operated Silverstreak Secretarial Service.
