Dr. Quisenberry is an Assistant Professor of Biomechanics in the School of Human Sciences. His primary focus of training is in the area of human movement and biomechanics. He is serving as the Director of the Athletic Movement and Biomechanics Laboratory.

Dr. Quisenberry’s primary teaching responsibilities include KIN 321: Biomechanics, KIN 511: Biomechanical Analysis of Human Movement, and KIN 525 Motor Learning.
Dr. Quisenberry’s research interests are focused on lower extremity mechanics and muscle activity regarding injury risk and performance optimization. His primary focus is in the area of the human-surface interface, focusing on how the sports surface-shoe (or cleat) interface influences lower extremity mechanics and muscle activity—aiming to develop novel instrumentation that can aid sports medicine professionals reduce high school and college athletic injury.
Dr. Quisenberry has professional memberships with national and international biomechanics and sports engineering associations. Additionally, he has received an American College of Sports Medicine Biomechanics Interest Group research award.
