Bachelor's Program

Our Health Care Management (HCM) program is designed to prepare students for a career in health management or health policy. It is accrediteted by AUPHA and provides a solid foundation of knowledge and skills needed to succeed in various healthcare organizations, government agencies, or pursue graduate studies in health administration, health informatics, epidemiology, business, or law.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be a greater demand for professionals in these fields, making the HCM program a smart choice for those seeking a career path with higher growth potential.

Minors

Adding a minor to your degree will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the industry, complement your major, and give you a competitive edge in the job market.

  • Healthcare Management (HCM)
  • Long Term Care Administration (LTC)
  • Infection Prevention and Control (IPC)
  • Health Information and informatics Management (HIM)

Talk to the program academic advisor to declare an HCM minor, and learn how best to apply this minor to your career goals.

Master's Degree Options

Consider pursuing a Master's degree in Health Administration (MHA) or Health Information Management (MHI). With a MHA or MHI degree, you'll gain the knowledge and skills necessary to advance in the healthcare industry and increase your earning potential.

And if you're interested in pursuing both fields, our dual-track MHA/MHI degree program might be just what you're looking for. This unique 3-year program allows you to specialize in both areas and graduate with a competitive advantage in the job market.
