Nitin Tiwari, Assistant Professor

Geotechnical Engineering

My research is focused on advancing interdisciplinary approaches essential for the future of sustainable and resilient infrastructure. I aim to develop innovative strategies that enhance soil and ground conditions by utilizing natural substances and engineered composites, optimizing their strengths to boost infrastructure performance while reducing environmental impacts.

Additionally, I am working towards creating an AI-driven, twin IoT-enabled framework for the continuous monitoring of geotechnical infrastructure. This cutting-edge system will revolutionize predictive performance and risk assessment, providing real-time insights and enabling data-driven decisions to ensure the integrity and longevity of critical infrastructure. My work also contributes to pioneering techniques for monitoring and mitigating the effects of natural hazards on geostructures, furthering our understanding of their impact on geotechnical infrastructure.
