The Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity Technology (CTEC) is designed to help you launch your career straight out of college. The field of cybersecurity offers diverse career paths in both private and government sectors. Roles in private industry range from information security analysts safeguarding company data to ethical hackers probing for system weaknesses. In government roles, you might find yourself working with national intelligence agencies or defense, protecting critical systems from cyberattacks.

We have the resources of a research university, and we keep our class sizes small. That’s the best of both worlds for you. You’ll learn from and get to know faculty members who have years of industry and research experience, and they will help prepare you for the boundless opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity.

Degree Requirements

The  degree program can be earned by fulfilling the requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree.

  • Total Degree Requirements: 120 credit hours
  • University Core Requirements: 39 credit hours
  • Foundation Requirements : 24 credit hours
  • Major Requirements : 42 credit hours
  • General Electives: 15 credit hours
