Associate in Applied Science in Radiologic Sciences
The Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Sciences prepares students to become registered radiologic technologists (medical radiographers). Completion of the program provides graduates with the educational requirements necessary to take the national certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Program Mission
The mission of the Radiography Program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is to provide a quality program integrating education, research and service in order to meet the needs of the profession and improve health care of the people and communities we serve.

- Students will be clinically competent upon graduation.
- Graduates will pass ARRT Radiography certification exam on first attempt.

Accreditation
