Candida Constantine-Castillo, Clinical Assistant Professor

I have three decades of nursing experience ranging from critical care and emergency trauma to executive nursing leadership.  I have served in administrative roles as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, and am currently the Chief Executive Officer for an acute care hospital in my community.. Healthcare Leadership is my passion!

I have had the pleasure of serving as academic faculty for undergraduate and graduate programs for since 2009 and have enjoyed the opportunity to connect with learners across the country.

I teach US Health Care Systems, Accreditation and Compliance, Strategy and Marketing, Long Term Care Administration, and health policy and politics. I love interacting with my students and love seeing them learn and take something away from the course! It's so satisfying! Research interests include Physician Burnout. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, playing pickleball and golf, boating, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.

Warren McDonald, Lecturer

Dr. McDonald is an internationally recognized educator, consultant and practitioner. H recently retired from his long time position as a tenured full professor and chair of the Department of Health Administration at Methodist University. He is also Chief Executive Officer of McDonald and Associates, LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to improving individuals and organizations through leadership development. He is a Registered Optician in the State of North Carolina, and serves as a consultant to a number of ophthalmic and general health care organizations in the areas of staff training and development, and practice management.
