Current Projects:

  • Clinical trial research on a new product, Prevention® Oncology Mouthwash and the effects on oral mucositis (mouth sores) of head and neck cancer patients. This research will be instrumental in gaining approval for use at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (began in 2012). This will continue into the Fall 2013. (This study has been placed on hold indefinitely by the FDA and Prevention®)
  • Worked as a research associate for an Autism research project with a graduate student, Maija Graudins and Dr. Ronda DeMattei (treating children with Autism); January 2011-May 2011
  • Working with an interdisciplinary research group on Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Developing survey and going to pilot project after HSC Approval; September 2014-present
