Our Educational Administration Master's Degrees at Southern Illinois University provide aspiring education leaders with the skills and certification needed for impactful roles in K-12 settings. Through a comprehensive 30-credit hour core curriculum, students delve into key topics such as school improvement, leadership, and equity, with an additional in a six-credit-hour principal internship to apply their learning in real-world settings. Degree Requirements

Our program sets you on the pathway to earning a Principal Endorsement in Illinois. This is a cohort-based program with a structured 30-credit hour curriculum, with option to add a 6 credit-hour principal internship.

Upon enrollment, you will be expected to maintain good academic standing by successfully completing all courses, internships, exams, and other program requirements. The Graduate School stipulates that all students have a maximum of six calendar years, from their initial enrollment date, to fulfill all program requirements.
