Our program stresses critical thinking and financial data analytical skills and teaches you to be conversant and proficient in Finance upon graduation. Join the Saluki Student Investment Fund and manage over $3.5Million for the SIU Foundation, including portfolio analysis, writing and presenting investment theses. Be part of our CFA institute University Affiliation Program and take the prestigious CFA exams, or the FINRA SIE exams before graduation to pave the way for a successful career in security analysis or financial brokerage! When you leave SIU, you’ll enter the job market with practical skills and theoretical knowledge, as well as a disciplined mind and research experience that will make you a valuable member on any financial team.
Bachelor's Program

Master of Business Administration
Our undergraduate Finance degree prepares students for a variety of careers in the financial industry and serves as solid groundwork for our fully online Master’s program in Business Administration (AACSB accreditated). The MBA provides a springboard into higher leadership positions to further your career development.
Ph.D. in Business Administration
SIU’s Doctorate in Business Administration program, teaches valuable business management, leadership, and organizational effectiveness, empowering graduates to put their skills to good use.
Graduates devote a minimum of three years to full-time study that includes coursework and developing a dissertation that makes an original contribution to knowledge in the graduate’s chosen field.
Our Business Administration program is fully accredited by AACSB International and offers a concentration in accounting, finance, management, or marketing.
