Andrew Abrams, Musical Theater Coordinator / Voice

Andrew Abrams has worked Off-Broadway, regionally and on tour as a professional director, musical director, conductor, composer and Equity actor. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from UW-Madison and a Master of Arts in Musical Theater from University of London-Goldsmiths. He is also a graduate of the advanced year of the BMI Musical Theatre Writing Workshop in New York City where he wrote But I’m a Cheerleader, the Musical which had a workshop in London in February, 2019 and was showcased at West End Live in Trafalgar Square in June, 2019.

Andrew has been on faculty at New York University, Hofstra University, New York Film Academy, Mountview Academy for the Performing Arts (in London), and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. He is the Artistic Director, and Co-Founder, of Capital City Theatre in Madison, WI which is a LORT D/SPT professional regional musical theatre company. Andrew has been a private Voice Teacher/Vocal Coach in New York City, London, and Madison, WI.
